Ingredients :

Steamed Idli 4
Pepper Powder 1/2 tsp
Tomato Ketchup
Salt to taste
Oil for Deep Frying

 

Method

  1. Slice the idlis into small cubes and keep aside.
  2. Heat oil in a deep vessel on medium heat.
  3. When oil is hot, slowly drop the idli pieces into the oil.
  4. Fry till the idli turns golden brown in color
  5. Remove the idlis onto absorbent paper to remove excess oil.
  6. Immediately sprinkle pepper powder and a pinch of salt.
  7. Serve fried idli with tomato ketchup or mint chutney.
